Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Thomasville, NC. This position is responsible for TIG welding aluminum, stainless steel, and steel components while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and production efficiency. MIG welding experience is also a plus.

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience

Schedule: Full-time with overtime opportunities available

Location: Thomasville, NC

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and steel materials
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
• Measure and verify dimensions using tools such as squares, levels, and scales
• Fit, assemble, and weld parts while minimizing distortion
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
• Lift and move materials throughout the facility as needed

Qualifications:

• TIG welding experience required
• MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
• Must be able to pass a weld test
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors
• Frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled
