We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing various types of metal using TIG welding techniques. Your precision and attention to detail will be crucial as you align and fit parts, ensuring they meet project specifications. As a Welder, you will need to identify the most suitable welding processes for each job, interpret blueprints accurately, and maintain a high degree of craftsmanship. Your role will involve inspecting materials and structures to identify and address defects promptly.
Shift: 2nd, Monday - Thursday (4:30pm - 3:00am OR 7:30pm - 6:00am). Training will be conducted on 1st shift.
15% shift premium for all 2nd shift hours worked!
What You’ll Do:
- Weld, fabricate and repair multiple species of metal utilizing, a TIG welding process
- Positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts using jigs, hand tools, and welding equipment.
- The ability to identify which welding process to complete the job properly and efficiently.
- Studying blueprints to determine project task sequences and requirements.
- Laying out and examining material to ensure that client specifications are met.
- Inspecting materials, equipment, or structures to identify the cause of problems or defects.
- Understand all specifications and hold the finished product to specified tolerances.
- Maintain a high degree of aesthetics for the overall professional appearance of the finished product
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Proven experience as a Welder, specifically with TIG welding.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS (American Welding Society) certification) is highly preferred.
