TIG WELDER (GTAW SPECIALIST)

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder (GTAW) with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in precision welding and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel welding, with the ability to produce high-quality, clean, and accurate welds in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Position Overview:

The TIG Welder will be responsible for performing precision welding, fabrication, and assembly of metal components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to consistently meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and various metal alloys
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, welding symbols, and technical drawings
• Perform layout, fit-up, and fabrication of metal components
• Ensure welds meet visual and dimensional quality standards
• Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify accuracy
• Perform grinding, finishing, and material preparation as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work independently or as part of a fabrication/welding team to meet production goals

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience
• Strong blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation skills
• Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
• Proficient in fabrication, layout, and assembly processes
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection methods
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, heat control, and distortion management
• Ability to produce high-quality welds in accordance with industry standards (AWS or equivalent experience preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certification (a plus)
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication shop, or industrial welding environments
• Knowledge of ASME standards or structural welding applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
