Position Overview:

A growing advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled TIG Welding Technician to join its production team. This position offers the opportunity to work with precision metal components in a quality-driven environment supporting highly engineered products

What You’ll Do as a Tig Welder:

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies.
• Prepare, fit, assemble, and weld sheet metal, tubing, groove, and fillet weld applications.
• Set up, adjust, and verify welding equipment, fixtures, and tooling prior to production.
• Inspect weld quality to ensure compliance with blueprint requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and weld integrity.
• Troubleshoot welding processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and adhere to established work instructions.
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within the manufacturing environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training, welding certification, or equivalent hands-on TIG welding experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld specifications.
• Strong understanding of weld inspection, measurement tools, and quality requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
