Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on parts and assemblies according to blueprints and production specifications.
Weld components freehand and/or using fixtures and rotary positioning equipment.
Weld materials including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
Ensure all welds meet quality and cosmetic standards, including precision welds on thin materials such as 22-gauge components.
Track and maintain inventory of welding components to prevent shortages.
Collaborate with engineering and other departments to meet assembly and production needs.
Minimum 1 year of recent professional TIG welding experience.
Proven ability to perform high-quality TIG welds with strong attention to detail, including cosmetic welds on thin materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Understanding of TIG welding adjustments for different materials and part variations.
