Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to fabricate and repair metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
