TIG Welder - 2nd Shift

Location: Lake Orion, MI

Schedule: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Pay: $26-$38/hour + 10% shift premium

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Hours: Average 50-55 hours per week with overtime and occasional weekends

We're hiring experienced TIG Welders for direct-hire opportunities with a growing aerospace manufacturer in Lake Orion.

What You'll Do

• Perform primarily TIG welding on steel, aluminum and Invar components
• Set up welding equipment based on job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Weld and fabricate components, fixtures, jigs, gauges and tooling
• Inspect your work for quality and consistency
• Repair or revise welded components as needed
• Work closely with other team members to meet production and quality requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous TIG welding experience
• Experience welding steel and/or aluminum
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Ability to use basic measuring tools including calipers and tape measures
• Strong attention to weld quality and appearance
• Comfortable working overtime and occasional weekends as needed
• Aerospace welding experience is a plus, but not required
• Welding certifications are not required

Candidates will complete a hands-on weld test as part of the interview process.

Compensation & Benefits

• $26-$38/hour based on experience and weld test results
• Additional 10% premium for 2nd shift
