The Role

As a TIG Welder

, you will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to fabricate

high-precision stainless

steel tubing

and structural assemblies used throughout our next-generation metal systems. You will perform high-quality TIG welds

on thin-walled

pipes

, tubes

, and custom fixtures

that support our internal factory infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality and reliability matter.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding

thin-walled

stainless

steel and aluminum

tubes

, pipes

, and other large structures using a Miller Syncrowave

180 TIG welder

• Use of fixturing

equipment such as magnetic

and corner clamps

• Use of fabrication

equipment including miter saws

,

band saws

, and

grinders

• Welding structures for the world's highest-throughput metal 3D printing

system

Basic Requirements

• 3+ years of TIG welding

experience

• Experience welding stainless

steel and aluminum

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of TIG welding

experience

• Experience with precision welding

• Experience welding in an aerospace

environment

• Experience welding thin-walled

pipes

, tubes

, or other structures

• Ability to perform other fabrication

duties in the machine shop

if interest and time permit

Based in Hawthorne, our vertically integrated facility brings technology development, R&D, and production together under one roof. We operate at the center of LA's deep tech ecosystem, surrounded by some of the most ambitious hardware innovation happening anywhere in the country.

Our fast-paced, cross-functional environment is built on close collaboration. This role requires full-time onsite presence (five days a week), with very limited exceptions.
