Job Description

SUMMARY:

• A Welder is able to tack, weld, and assemble material for industrial parts to drawing specifications.
• Stainless is a harder material. It's just what we work with is thinner and lighter than the heavy steel pipe he is working with. It takes more skill and finesse. It's not an easy thing to do and be good at it.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up TIG, MIG, & Stick welding machines based on the job at hand.
• 85% of the work is for (TIG Welding)
• Able to layout & weld heavy metal by blueprint from start to finish.
• Able to read drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Able to assemble items as instructed by shop foreman.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience.

Requirements:

• You must complete a weld test (using your own PPE)

WORK HOURS:

• Monday - Friday (1st Shift) 7:30a - 4:00pm

WORK LOCATION:

• Brown Summit, NC
