Job Summary:
The TIE Engineer 1 will be an integral part of our Industrial Engineering team, working collaboratively with various departments to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role involves understanding and applying traditional TPS/IE concepts and tools to improve productivity and efficiency across the manufacturing process, from receiving products to shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and application of traditional TPS/IE concepts & tools in MFG environment.
- Conduct time / motion studies to improve productivity for direct and indirect areas
- Visualize initial condition with GAPs, set targets, identify strategy and schedule to accomplish targets
- Study operations of sequence, including conveyance flow, routes, start triggers, and standardized work in MFG& WH
- Production System Understanding (replenishment method, Production instruction) to pursue JIT
- Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization
- Budgetary of department expense and manpower annual planning
- Provide OJT training to related PR and indirect support groups on traditional TIE/TPS tools and application techniques
- Provide new line installation support and development of standardized work, lot size development, packaging support, PR System design, conveyance routes, as a basis for progressive kaizen
- Position requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication & project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Word); AutoCAD preferred
- Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplined cross-functional team in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to successfully Multitask Projects & update plan vs. actual condition
- Willingness to work periodic overtime
- Possess and demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical field.
-0-3 years of related experience in manufacturing

Annual Salary: $73,000 - $91,000
