**Thread Roller Operator: Rockford, IL

**

We're seeking an experienced Thread Roller Operator who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining thread rolling and cold heading equipment while ensuring products consistently meet engineering specifications and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:

**

• Operate and troubleshoot single- and multi-blow cold heading/thread rolling equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts meet exact specifications

• Perform preventative maintenance before and after tooling changes

• Inspect tooling, setups, and finished parts to ensure quality and print compliance

• Repair and maintain tooling and dies as needed

• Make machine adjustments to optimize quality and production efficiency

• Safely operate a forklift (license preferred)

• Load wire coils onto spool racks

• Train and mentor less experienced operators

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

**Skills & Experience:

• **Education

  **: HSD, required

• **Experience

  **: 2-5+ years experience operating thread rolling or cold heading equipment, required

• **Knowledge:

**Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills,

• **Ability:

**Read & interpret blueprints, technical drawings, & specifications and use precision measuring instruments,

** required

**Pay:

** $21.00 - $40.00/hour, based on experience

**Type:

** Full-time, 1st AND 2nd Shifts, On-site

**Schedule:

** 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

 OT Available: Friday and Saturday
