Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled Technical Operations Coordinator. This role is responsible for coordinating testing schedules, managing technical inventory and assets, and improving operational workflows that support engineering and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building structure from chaos, and can proactively keep projects moving forward.
Job Duties
- Coordinate testing schedules across engineering teams and external partners
- Track timelines and ensure vehicles, tools, and resources are prepared for testing activities
- Follow up with internal teams and vendors to gather testing data, updates, and deliverables
- Order, receive, organize, and maintain physical inventory and technical assets
- Prepare parts and equipment for shipment, transport, or testing use
- Develop and maintain tracking systems using Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, or similar tools
- Identify process gaps and create workflows that improve operational efficiency
- Maintain dashboards and status reports to provide visibility into project progress
Skills & Experience
Required
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, engineering support, or project coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience organizing data, schedules, inventory, or project tracking systems
- Ability to learn new technical software and systems quickly
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move parts or equipment up to 25 lbs as needed
- Familiarity with workflow tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms

- Exposure to automotive environments, testing operations, or mechanical systems
- Hands-on automotive experience through work, school, or personal projects
- Experience building trackers, dashboards, or process documentation
- Familiarity with inventory management or logistics coordination
- Exposure to engineering testing environments or technical operations teams
- Experience or interest in AI tools, automation platforms, or agentic AI concepts
- Ability to support cross-functional coordination between technical teams and vendors
