What You Will Do

We are currently conducting search for a Test and Validation Engineer II based at the Forest, MS facility. In this role you’ll support production and testing of complex electronic systems, units and modules associated with military radar and communications products.

Additional responsibilities may include:

Developing and maintaining Test Procedures.
Conducting Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes to mitigate failure modes and improve production performance.
Maintaining related Special Test Equipment and specify replacement equipment when required (obsolescence)
Training technicians to use Test Procedures and provide written directions for trouble shooting
Training entry level Test Engineers on test process
Utilizing CORE and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to optimize test process efficiency and reduce defects.
Transforming complex information and data into concise and visually engaging slides.
Participating in internal design review of Prime Hardware and test environment

This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon’s Forest, MS facility.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
Experience analyzing test data and/or determining if hardware meets specifications.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience diagnosing and isolating technical issues with test equipment and production hardware.
Experience interpreting product specifications and requirements
Experience with modern Automated Test Systems for electronics
Experience with RF network analyzers and spectrum analyzers

The salary range for this role is 59,000 USD - 117,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
