JOB SUMMARY:
The Test Engineer I provides expertise in setting-up and conducting quality testing. Ensures high quality development of products/components throughout the development process.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible in setting-up and performing a range of qualification testing and procedures
• Performs analysis and troubleshooting to determine root causes of failure
• Performs testing for various phases of the design process
• Works to ensure that product(s) will perform under typical and extreme usage without failure
• Performs qualification testing to ensure products/systems meet design specifications
• Conducts functional operation and testing on electronic equipment
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• The Primary duties in this job require analysis, interpretation or deductions from facts, available information and data. Requirements involve the comparison and the evaluation of possible results or solutions after considering various possibilities and making recommendations and/or decisions accordingly using professional judgment. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
Experience: 0 - 2 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
• Able to apply expertise in systematic discipline and analytical approach to problem solving
• Ability to apply processes and procedures to resolve engineering tasks
• Understands test requirements, scheduling and efficiency
• Effective interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion
• Effective oral and written communication
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Experience: Two (2) plus years of relevant experience preferred.
