Job Summary: Seeking a Temperature Controls Project Manager in our Nashville TN office. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the installation, programming, and commissioning of our Temperature Controls systems. This includes scheduling all operational stages of the project, including Engineering, Programming, Material, Checkout, Installation and Closeout, to meet the scope agreed to with our customer, within the estimated budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops Control system implementation plan for the customer’s situation and issues
- Developing and/or deciphering a Sequence of operations
- Programming DDC controls to accomplish desired HVAC or Energy Management sequence of operations
- Must be organized and possess good time management skills to prioritize workload
- Identifies a specific action plan for each account
- Develops positive relationships with customer contacts, other site contractors, and our internal support teams
- Successfully maintains an acceptable rate of project savings compared to estimated budgets
- Directs and manages a team consisting of control specialists, installers, engineers, programmers, and office staff for each assigned project
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project managing commercial HVAC or control system installations.
- Strong HVAC and hydronic understanding
- Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with professional communication skills
- Can handle a variety of situations encountered during the installation processes
- Work under minimal supervision
