Pay Rate: $22.52 to $60.14/hr | Employment Type: W-2 Contract

FULLY REMOTE - NO TRAVEL

Hybrid: Candidates within 50 miles of a Jacobs office must report onsite 2 days/week | Remote: Candidates outside 50 miles of a Jacobs office may work remotely

Top Skills

• Revit BIM design and model management

Requirements

• 3+ years of BIM design experience using Revit for coordinated 3D modeling and construction documentation
• 3+ years of telecommunications systems design or construction experience, or related security, life safety, or fire alarm design experience
• Strong understanding of wiring and cabling connections between devices, equipment, and systems
• Experience developing and maintaining coordinated BIM models while following established design and modeling standards
• Experience producing construction documents from coordinated Revit models
• High school diploma or equivalent

Plusses

• 3+ years of Revit and/or AutoCAD design experience
• Data center design experience
• Paging, intercom, or audio-visual systems experience
• Life safety, security, fire alarm, access control, or CCTV experience
• Knowledge of control systems, network components, or network topology
• Bluebeam or similar markup software experience

**Role Overview: **Support telecommunications design documentation and manage Revit BIM models for data center and other projects. Develop coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings while working with telecom leads, BIM teams, architects, engineers, and other design disciplines.

Team Environment

• Works under telecom discipline or project leads
• Coordinates with BIM leads, designers, architects, and engineers
• Supports multidisciplinary BIM coordination across building systems
• Fast-paced, collaborative design environment with client interaction

Core Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models
• Develop telecommunications design documentation
• Create and coordinate 3D BIM models across multiple disciplines
• Produce 2D construction drawings
• Follow client and project BIM standards
• Develop constructable, clash-free models from senior telecom design intent
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines and BIM leads
• Estimate design and modeling hours from markups or verbal direction
