Duties & Responsibilities:
- Initial sample inspection, as required
- Inspection and test plans & FAI preparation/updating
- Performs Receiving Inspection and keeps records of findings
- Tracks and records nonconforming material
- Preparation and issuing of Quality Alerts
- Assists in updating NCR log
- Measuring equipment calibration, tracking, and control
- Template verification
- Preparation/Updating of QA forms and control
- Assists in Internal Audit program, including preparation and performing internal audits
- Verify part dimensions at Product Launch to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshooting – determining causes of operational errors and determining an effective solution as required
- Assist in standardized methods of work or set-up and processing, utilizing Standard Work Instructio
- Participate in technical meetings as required with internal staff and external suppliers, with the purpose of providing resolutions to problematic processes

Education and Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Familiar with mechanical inspection devices, including but not limited to tape measures, dial calipers, and micrometers.
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Computer skills to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite, Including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- At least 2 years QA experience
- ASQ CQT or CQA Certification preferred
- 6-Sigma/Lean principle familiarity preferred
