Responsibilities 

• Work is performed in both laboratory and manufacturing environments and requires exposure to production equipment, moving machinery, heat, and moderate noise levels while following all required PPE and safety procedures

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, technical data sheets, and manufacturing documentation to perform required inspections.

• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, squares, depth gauges, pin gauges, and other inspection tools.

• Conduct incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections to verify product compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.

• Prepare laboratory samples by cutting material using the appropriate saw equipment and preparing specimens for mechanical testing.

• Operate tensile testing equipment and perform tensile testing in accordance with established procedures.

• Perform hardness testing using approved hardness testing equipment (e.g., Webster, Barcol, or equivalent) as required.

• Collect, label, and retain quality samples to ensure traceability in accordance with company procedures.

The pay for this position is $24.72 - $25.34 If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience.
