Material Handler

Pay & Schedule

Training Period (First 90 Days)

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

After Training

• 3rd Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Work Schedule

• Week 1: Monday – Wednesday (3 days)
• Week 2: Monday – Thursday (4 days)
• Alternating schedule of 3-day and 4-day workweeks.

What You'll Do

• Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload materials for production.
• Operate pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.
• Supply production lines with materials as needed.
• Remove finished products and transport them to designated areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
• Collect product samples for quality checks.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety and work instructions.

Requirements

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.

PPE & Physical Requirements

• Safety glasses provided by the company.
• No work at heights.
• Most material movement is done with pallet jacks and forklifts.

Bonuses & Incentives

• Safety Bonus: $250 per quarter.
• Quality Bonus: $250 every 6 months.
• Attendance Bonus:- Additional $1.00 per hour worked for perfect attendance each month.- Additional $0.50 per hour worked with only one tardy in a month.

Work Environment

This position is in a plastics manufacturing facility that works with raw materials such as plastic beads and pellets.
