Job Description

Duties
•    Responsible for conducting repairs, service and preventative maintenance work on generators and other types of equipment once properly trained.  
•    Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in the shop and on customer sites
•    Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment
•    Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
•    Complete service reports and document all work performed
•    Collaborate with customers to provide technical support and resolve any issues
•    After hours on call schedule once fully trained.
Experience
•    Previous experience in mechanic work or equipment repair preferred.
•    New or recent technical school graduates also encouraged to apply. 
•    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
•    Excellent communication and customer service skills
•    Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
Skills
•    Must have knowledge of theory, principles and repairs relating to internal combustion engines, electrical circuits and mechanical mechanisms. 
•    Equipment repair: Experience in repairing various types of machinery and equipment
•    Heavy lifting: Capability to lift heavy objects as required
•    Generator repair: Experience in repairing generators or power systems preferred but not required
•    Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
•    Service technician: Skills in providing technical support and troubleshooting issues
•    Skilled in the use of test equipment and well versed in the use of computers.
