As a
**Technician III, Facilities Engineering
**, supporting our Technician Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to support engineers in the design, modification, and improvement of products/processes at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX.
**In this role, a typical day will include:
**
Identifying and recommending improvements/preventive actions.
Inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, monitoring, installing and coordinating installation services on equipment and systems (MEP). Monitoring processes, estimating costs, making or verifying calculations, analyzing and interpreting data & drawings.
Monitoring and use of the BAS to troubleshoot building faults
Testing new and modified products, processes, and/or systems.
Training and transfer of knowledge and providing guidance and support
Point of contact and initial resource for the shift
Engaging in behaviors that foster continuous improvement
Maintain and repair machines and equipment.
Perform Preventive Maintenance (evaluate, modify, originate - PMs).
Support Facilities Group activities (shutdowns, capital projects, continuous improvements, PIT teams).
Document work accurately per company and regulatory policies (within Maximo, on test scripts/protocols, etc.).
Communicate clearly, effectively, professionally with other team members, production personnel, and outside contractors/suppliers.
Comply with all safety, environmental and CGMP requirements.
Ensure the quality and environmentally compliant operation of the plant critical utilities to include but not limited to the Deionized Purified water system, the clean compressed air system, boilers, chillers, and the HVAC systems.
