Job Overview:

Job Description Summary: 

Trained to perform cleaning, cleanliness verification, and packaging per:

  • S308
  • S311-4 / -5 / -6 / -8
  • Approved Valve-specific Engineering drawing and:
    1. Cleaning Procedures (CPs)
    2. Test Procedures (TPs)
    3. Test Reports (TRs)
    4. Qualification Procedures (QPs)
    5. Others as required

Performs:

  • Pre-cleaning / bulk cleaning using pre-cleaning equipment and established methods
  • Gowning / de-gowning for an ISO Class 5 cleanroom
  • Precision cleaning of piece parts, kits, and assemblies
  • Cleanliness verification for contamination (FOD), damage, and defects utilizing:
  • Evident CIX100 Particle Counting Microscopes
  • White light visual verification
  • Ultraviolet visual verification
  • Total Solids Analysis
  • Non-volatile Residue Analysis
  • Manual microscopes and video scopes
  • Packaging cleaned hardware per process or hardware-specific instructions
  • Maintenance checklists to monitor and maintain
  • Clean environment and equipment
  • Stocks of consumables (solvents, bagging plastic, gowning items, etc.)
  • Functional testing of electrical and pneumatic valve systems as required
  • Training of new technicians and providing feedback to engineering teams for continuous improvement of documents, procedures, tooling, and methods.
