If you are an Technical Training Instructor professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Marshalltown, IA location, you will provide in-person factory based training, at Impact Partner offices or customer sites. The Instructor will also be delivering trainings both virtually/remotely. In this role, the individual will update existing and develop new course materials following IACET guidelines and best practice adult learning theory. *Relocation assistance available for selected non-local candidate. 

AS AN EDUCATION SERVICES INSTRUCTOR, YOU WILL:

• Conduct scheduled training sessions at Marshalltown campus, customer sites, sales representative offices, and regional training centers
• Contribute and collaborate with partners on improving course curriculum, student materials, and hands-on workshops
• Assist with the preparation of all necessary instructional materials and equipment for classes
• Work closely with Division product teams to develop and maintain a high degree of technical expertise on assigned topics, product offerings, and related process control equipment

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Passion for learning and imparting knowledge to people with varied roles and experience levels
• Previous experience with adult technical learning
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills 
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in team and highly autonomous settings
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability and willingness to travel in North America, up to 50%
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Engineering or Industrial Technology
• Experience with Fisher Division products is preferred; some experience with Control Valve Engineering and FIELDVUE technology is ideal
