As a Technical Support, you will ensure Baker Hughes Drilling Services has proper tracking, management and improvement of performance in performance-based contracts.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
Subject Matter Expert for his/her area of support
Support the field technically through different media (online, phone calls, and technical papers)
Share the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories, and lessons learned to the knowledge management database
Follow up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the field
Raise alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job
Coaching the Wellsite field population
Communicate to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies
Product-line specific responsibilities
Working with the assigned teams to understand performance challenges and proper root cause and corrective actions
Ensuring after action reviews are done for all jobs
Providing on-demand support in accordance with product portfolio or on-call schedule for job execution
Mentoring of junior technical support and engineers to build knowledge and expertise.

Have a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics
Displays initiative, is self-driven & flexible
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
Have ability to develop and mentor others
Availability on call outside of normal business hours
Good communication skills
Thorough understanding of PL technology and Service Delivery requirements
Have significant operational experience
