The Technical Supervisor will be responsible for providing direction and oversight for Union Technical Group Leaders, and Union Machine Technicians of ELM Operations, primarily in the final assembly area. This Supervisor will be responsible for the development of skilled Union technical personnel through our Total Productive Maintenance training /continuous improvement process. The technical Supervisor will be safeguarding Hasbro’s investments in capital equipment by managing the Preventive Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance processes



What you’ll do as a Technical Supervisor:

  • Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to Union Technical Group Leaders and Union Machine Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
  • Monitor factory performance to confirm that critical assets operate within specification and consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Lead and manage Strategic Goal Deployment (SGD) initiatives to drive cost, performance, and operational improvements aligned with ELM site and corporate strategies
  • Strengthen technical capability through TPM Duty Task training, coaching, and communication.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Union workforce, fostering trust, collaboration, and adherence to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Develop effective cross‑functional partnerships with internal and external business stakeholders to support operational excellence.
  • Direct and execute strategic initiatives that advance Global Operations objectives.
  • Support and influence key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, schedule adherence, quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA requirements, and promote a culture of safety throughout the operation.


We’re looking for a Technical Supervisor with:

  • Associate degree in manufacturing, engineering, technical services, operations management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supervision, including at least 3 years in a technical role; experience in high‑speed packaging or automated production environments preferred.
  • Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
  • Training and demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) training and experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Financial acumen related to manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Materials management experience is a plus.
  • SAP experience is helpful.

Physical requirements and working conditions: 

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

  • Move through the entire facility to attend to various issues
  • Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
  • Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
  • This Technical Supervisor position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow MA facility
