  • Drive software business performance through pipeline creation, conversion, adoption, renewal, expansion, and retention initiatives.

  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, product, customer success, channel, distributor, and regional leadership teams to align priorities and accelerate growth.

  • Enable sellers and partners with the tools, messaging, workflow understanding, and technical confidence needed to position NI software effectively.

  • Serve as the regional voice of the customer and field, bringing market feedback and execution insights back to Software BU leadership.

  • Lead through influence in a highly matrixed global organization, establishing priorities, operating cadence, success metrics, and accountability.

Who You Are:

  • You are a results-oriented business leader who connects strategy to measurable execution and delivers against business objectives.

  • You communicate with clarity and influence, build trusted relationships across teams, and create alignment around shared priorities.

  • You combine commercial acumen, technical curiosity, and customer workflow understanding to identify growth opportunities and remove barriers.

  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving accountability without relying on direct authority.

  • You bring energy, ownership, and a proactive problem-solving mindset to complex regional and cross-functional business challenges.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in business management, sales, marketing, strategy, product management, operations management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience owning business performance, growth initiatives, strategic planning, or regional execution programs.

  • Strong ability to work across multiple functions and influence stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to use data to assess performance, identify risks, and recommend actions.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage ambiguity, and execute in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience driving software, SaaS, recurring revenue, renewal, adoption, or enterprise agreement growth motions.

  • Familiarity with NI software platforms, customer engineering workflows, AI-enabled workflows, LabVIEW+, SystemLink, or related technical software environments.

  • Experience working with regional sales teams, channel partners, distributors, or strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Proven success scaling repeatable commercial plays across territories, markets, languages, or routes to market.

  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex business and technical topics for field and leadership audiences.

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that connect customer needs, product strategy, commercial execution, and measurable business outcomes.

Our Culture & Commitment to You:

  • We are committed to helping customers solve complex engineering challenges through innovative software, systems, and workflow solutions.

  • You will be part of a collaborative, global team that values accountability, customer focus, continuous learning, and practical execution.

  • We support people who lead with curiosity, build trust across functions, and turn strategy into meaningful customer and business impact.

  • You will have the opportunity to shape regional software growth, influence global strategy, and work with cross-functional leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and the Software Business Unit.

  • We are committed to creating an environment where diverse perspectives, inclusive collaboration, and professional growth help every employee do their best work.
