The Technical Business Development Specialist must be a highly motivated professional, driven to achieve growth results across multiple lines of business. But above all, they should be a team player, comfortable working with multiple disciplines, and know they are an advocate for their customer and Keystone.

We are looking for someone that has a broad understanding of various machining processes. A curiosity about manufacturing and how things are made. Able to understand complex applications and how our components are/can be incorporated. A hunter that enjoys developing relationships and looking for new opportunities.

This position is 100% on-site with office hours M-F 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and identify potential customers by conducting research, cold calling, and utilizing various lead generation techniques.

• Qualify and nurture leads through effective communication, understanding customer needs and positioning our products to meet those needs.

• Collaborate with the sales team and Director of Sales to develop and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

• Service existing customers as needed, including but not limited to order entry, expediting, phone calls, quoting, and related activities.

• Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve monthly, quarterly, annual performance targets.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information and activities related to prospects and customers in NetSuite.

• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings and provide value-added solutions.

• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and other opportunities to enhance sales skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.

• Take ownership of customer accounts and projects with in-depth understanding of customer expectations and Keystone deliverables.

• Available to support and attend customer and prospect visits; attend tradeshows as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience. Proven success in business-to-business development and sales.

• Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Self-Motivated and Results Oriented. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and other performance metrics.

• Customer Service Skills. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse customer base.

• Organizational and Time Management Skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Independent and Collaborative. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• CRM Software. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.

• Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

• Manufacturing Experience. Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution is required.

• Technical Aptitude. Capable of reading and understanding customer drawings and requirements.

• Manufacturing Knowledge. Understanding of basic machining processes and sourcing of materials and services.
