Technical Recruiter owns the complete lifecycle of the hiring process across our Industrial Automation divisions in Canada and the US. In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for identifying, attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent across engineering, skilled trades, and technical business units.
From building sourcing strategies and partnering with hiring managers to managing interviews, offers, and onboarding, you’ll drive every stage of the recruitment process. You'll be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class candidate experience while ensuring we consistently hire top-quality talent that aligns with our business needs.

Note: This is a 12-month contract position.
This is a hybrid role—while we may work remotely, we are expected to attend in-person meetings at the office as required, as well as external hiring & employer branding events.
• Oversee the full talent acquisition life cycle for each role assigned to you, which includes obtaining requisition approvals, intake sessions with the hiring manager, job posting, sourcing and interviewing
• Coordinating interviews with candidates
• Conducting background screening, and references
• Coordinating and attending local career fairs
• Working with the local colleges and universities to recruit new graduates
• Preparing offer packages
• Lead sourcing activities with difficult to fill roles
• Creating talent pipelines of candidates for future hiring
• Assisting in pulling reports to track metrics
• Supporting other HR team members with the RMS tool and LinkedIn
• Work on various Talent/Recruitment projects
• Partner closely with the HR team to ensure Recruitment and HR practices align with business strategy, and candidate experience is seamless
• Use of ABM (ATS Business Model) to foster continuous improvement in the recruitment process.

• Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures
• Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
• Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
• Report defect in any equipment or protective device
• Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
• Attend all required health, safety and environmental training
• Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
• Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
• Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
Education:
A post-secondary degree specializing in human resources or equivalent
Experience and Requirements:
• 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
• Strong experience sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn and other social media platforms
• Previous experience using various recruitment management systems, such as Taleo and SuccessFactors
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience recruiting for technical roles, especially in engineering. Experience recruiting for automation related positions is a definite asset
