EHC is currently looking for aTechnical Quality Specialistfor a client in the south Houston, TX area.

Responsibilities:

Product & Technical Quality:

Receives, reviews, verifies authenticity, and organizes MTRs for incoming raw materials and components; ensures full traceability (heat/lot/batch numbers)
Administers full calibration program, maintains equipment registry
Partner with suppliers on technical requirements and corrective actions

Supplier Quality:

Third-Party Coordination & Hosting (DNV and Others):

Schedule and coordinate third-party inspections, witness testing with agencies such as DNV, ABS, Lloyd's, Bureau Veritas, or other notified bodies/customer representatives
Prepare detailed agendas, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), notification letters, and supporting documentation (e.g., material traceability records, welder qualifications, NDT procedures) well in advance
Serve as primary point of contact during witness activities, including product witness points (e.g., material receiving, welding, heat treatment, NDT, hydrostatic FATs, dimensional checks)
Document visit outcomes, including signoffs, punch lists, and any hold points released

Non-Conformance & CAPA Administration:

Log, categorize, and track non-conformances (NCRs), deviations, and concessions using the company's system
Facilitate root cause analysis) and monitor implementation of corrective actions
Ensure disposition of nonconforming products follows API and customer protocols
Track quality KPIs (NCR rates, witness hold point resolution,) and prepare reports

Compliance & Documentation:

You should be proficient in:
