At Applied’s CTO group, we focus on enabling technologies for quantum information applications, i.e. superconducting qubits and optical quantum computing. Our primary objective is to collaborate with system companies and universities to develop quantum devices with significantly lower error rates compared to current standards. Our approach centers on harnessing state of the art materials engineering and semiconductor processing to enhance device performance.

To achieve this goal, we're seeking a passionate technical project manager with relevant quantum, industry, and project management background to drive the development of new technology inflection on quantum information. Responsibilities

Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation. Participate in the development of strategies, processes and resources.
Manages project schedule and task details (by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software).
Coordinates allocated resources from within the division to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.
Participates in multifunctional teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
Interfaces and coordinates within the division to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.
Provides engineering and business process expertise to teams and other members on various standard programs / issues.
Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.
Organize the work of the team, make a master program plan, project plan for each project.
Make a master schedule of milestones, and drive cross-functional teams to meet their milestones.
Participate in partner/ customer meetings to drive schedules.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
