Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for leading-edge IC manufacturing. Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on BBP products to detect yield-critical defects for process debug and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes. BBP flagship products include the 29xx and 39xx series which leverage Broadband Plasma technology to capture a wide range of defects with ultimate sensitivity at the optical inspection speeds needed for inline defect monitoring.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

You will be a key member of our highly integrated multi-disciplinary team of software, systems, applications and algorithm engineers.

Key requirements:
1) Demonstrate business insight with clear understanding of value proposition, feature capabilities, and how our solutions win in marketplace.
2) Plan and manage feature interdependencies, project schedule, and drive software development plan with urgency required to deliver business value.
3) Actively contribute to integrate Software and Hardware solutions that meet product and engineering specifications and requirements.
4) Ensure feature development plans and testing are comprehensive and optimized for
performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability, and serviceability.
5) Drive taskforces, hold effective technical discussions with engineers, and have appreciation for key design decisions the underlying software architectures & frameworks.
6) Communicate and work effectively with teams located globally, including marketing, engineering, manufacturing, service, field teams, and customers; to resolve product issues and support/enable revenue and profit realizations.

The successful candidate will have the following skills.

Proven Technical Capability and Risk Management with deep understanding of business goals.
Software development experience with good software design exposure is desired.
Experience with New Product Introduction or Product Development Experience from inception to delivery.
Experience articulating the progress and impact through relevant key performance indicators.
Familiarity with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall development methodologies.
Great team player with strong leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication.
Enthusiastic communicator who successfully advocates for action and positive change.
Creative problem solver with a proven track record of solving complex technical issues with urgency.
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in customer engagement, feedback analysis, and adoption strategy development desired.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

Base Pay Range: $154,900.00 - $263,300.00 Annually
