To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Technical Program Manager located in Milpitas CA.
Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering the Technical Program Manager, Partner with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the NPI phase. Work closely with the Director of Program Management to define market and product requirements and provide voice of the market and customer to the design & engineering teams in I&NV
What a typical day looks like:
Maintain MIL items and ensure they're closed out with effective solutions that include root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions
Address yield fallouts with the team promptly
Drive the team to identify and address line inefficiencies
Work cross functionally to pull together the list
Prioritize and close out action items
Identify issues like lack of communication among teams and address. Leverages appropriate communication tools (phone calls, SMS, email, meetings, etc) to effectively close out action items
Submit, track and resolve bugs through customer bug tracking portal
Support requests for information, submittal, and change management process in coordination with consulting engineers.
Highlight line blockers, risks and issues
Appropriately document software and/or hardware specifications and processes.
Drive strategies and implementation for improving throughput and/or increasing capacity, leveraging a deep understanding of existing lines. Create new build tracker documentation as part of bring up.
Hold internal and customer-facing meetings with agenda and clear action trackers to drive the program forward
The experience we’re looking to add to our team,
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with sensor module manufacturing and precision optical assembly in a cleanroom environment.
Demonstrated foundational understanding of manufacturing and test engineering in a complex and dynamic environment
Familiarity with hardware engineering processes from design to production, including tools used, support, quality assurance, test, and maintenance
Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of meeting deliverables.
Ability to understand the CBrE, CIS and YBr2 processes with enough technical depth to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing line issues
