JOB SUMMARY:
In this role, you will troubleshoot a variety of routine to complex problems related to installation, operation, commissioning and maintenance of Turbomachinery, including axial compressors, centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, generators, hot gas expanders and steam turbines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise millwright teams during various phases of the decommissioning and commissioning of Turbomachinery.
- Ensure compliance by all worksite personnel with all aspects of safety on the job.
- Supervise the assembly and installation of equipment in accordance with specified requirements.
- Ensure that inspection reports are generated documenting compliance with specified requirements as well as documenting quality issues.
- Communicate all quality issues to RMS engineering and make recommendations for their resolution.
- Provide extensive equipment support.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associate degree in a Technical discipline or Vocational School (OR a High School Diploma/ GED with a minimum of 4 years of turbomachinery maintenance experience).

- Associate's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Strong cognitive and clear communication skills to efficiently support the service process.
- Ability to learn applicable company procedures within a reasonable time from start of employment.
- Computer proficiency with a minimum of word processing and spreadsheets.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects to completion with minimal oversight, while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability.
- Ability to make good business decisions based on risk reward analysis.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of turbomachinery field service/ repair experience, customer service experience, and onsite field service experience

Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, background checks, valid license, on-call schedules, weekend rotations, lifting up to 30 lbs, etc)
- Ability and willingness to travel 70% of the time, with short notice as required.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs.
- Able to understand, read, write and speak English proficiently.

- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Physical Requirements.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand and walk for significant portions of the shift.
- Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs., walk, climb, reach, kneel, crawl, and balance.
- Must be able to use hands for tool usage.
- Vision, manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to service instruments and handle electrical equipment
