Shift: Second
Shift Premium: $1.50
Position Responsibilities:
- Start up, adjust, and run Apex deburring and finishing machine
- Check finished components using tools like calipers and micrometers to verify smooth edges and correct dimensions
- Identify surface defects and sort out parts that do not meet manufacturing standards
- Standing, lifting, loading and unloading parts up to 12 pounds onto finishing machine
- Clean machine, clear out metal dust or shavings, and swap out worn abrasive belts or tools
- Familiar reading prints and/or work instructions
- Willing to perform other machining jobs when necessary
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail
- Safety as a priority mindset
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working in a fabrication department preferred
