Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Actively work with technology participants to ensure successful and efficient delivery, whilst also leading and coaching all UAT participants to ensure successful and efficient delivery of complex test strategies
  • Delivery: Responsible for UAT delivery within contractual, cost, scope and time constraints
  • Governance: Chair or support all UAT meetings whilst ensuring that status is clearly articulated, issues are appropriately escalated, and required direction is obtained and disseminated
  • Reporting: Produce complete, timely and accurate Release and Testing status reports
  • Control: Effectively support identification and resolution of delivery risks
  • Planning: Produce and maintain environment, release and UAT plans for live Clients, including deployment runbooks.
  • Agile: Ability to facilitate Release and Testing management under an agile framework
  • Methodology: Ensure adherence and evolution of all Release and Testing management standards, tools and processes
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to Broadridge teams on areas for ongoing improvement

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in an IT discipline.
  • 7+ years of Financial Services Operations & Technology experience Releasing and UAT disciplines
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation preferred.

Experience:

  • Understanding the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within an Agile Environment
  • Strong, demonstrable release and UAT management skills
  • In-depth understanding of release processes and reporting standards
  • Strong working knowledge of Dev Ops preferably within an AWS environment
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering rigorous release and UAT management in complex environments
  • Proven track record of developing and rolling out release and UAT management processes and standards.
  • Extensive experience leading technology and UAT support teams across multiple locations under direct and matrix management models
  • Proven financial services experience, preferably within Asset Servicing Operations
  • Demonstrable people management and communication skills
  • Highly delivery focused with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of building strong relationships and networks across a range of teams
  • Willingness to lead by example from the front
  • Capable of developing and leading teams to meet project Program and department objective

Skills:

  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural self-starter who can proactively manage a shifting workload.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are key - any experience with debugging tools a bonus.
  • The nature of this role will require some flexible working outside of normal working hours to support release delivery to live Clients
