Are you an All Star with a winning spirit? You should try out for our team! Delta Faucet Company in Lapeer, MI has a LEADERSHIP role for our FIRST shift operations. Core work hours are 6:45am – 3:15pm M-F + Saturdays often required.

The Team Lead will be responsible for the safe and efficient production operations of their assigned area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

Ensure PPE is being used properly

Manpower/Vacation scheduling

Process startup and control

Meet production goals

Respond to TL calls by TM

Confirm quality – routine checks

Identify and submit process deviations

Audit Standard Work

Cover absenteeism

Training and Cross training

Work orders for quick maintenance

Ensure Standardized work is followed

Facilitate small group activities/meetings

On-going continuous improvement project

Ensure parts/materials are supplied to process

Submit work orders for maintenance work

Education and Experience/Skills:

• Complete Shop Floor Management TL modules within 12 months of starting in role
• Previous experience in a production environment
• High School graduate or GED preferred
• Ability to interpret reports & analyze data
• Proficiently use laptop computer, including MS Office programs, quality tracking software and inventory software

Must be able to:

• Demonstrate leadership
• Be a role model for the Delta Faucet values
• Work independently, make decisions, and communicate with others
• Lift, bend and reach, including below waist level and above shoulder level
• Lift, push and pull weights of up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs.occasionally
• Use hands to manipulate parts and machine controls
• Use vision to read labels and inventory sheets
