Job Overview:

Need to be able to lead a team and work side by side with team, eventually move up to a Supervisor position with a larger salary.

Work in a FDA room, follow process and procedures. Process and procedures, safety in the room, loading hoppers.

Monday-Thursday (4-10's) 6am-4:30pm, Overtime on Fridays and notice will be given in advance

Responsible for daily work scheduling, training, answering questions related to work, assist in solving problems, schedules maintenance of equipment and work area. Work with regulatory team on maintaining food regulations. The Condiment Room Team Lead is working member of the Blending Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Leads production activities with respect to production volume

•Meet production schedules and shipping dates

•Reading bills of material

•Assure that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production and to required standards

•Keeps up on records of departmental activities

•Maintain Cleanliness of room per schedule

•Maintain documents and turn them in promptly to Food Innovations

•Record lot # and amount of ingredients in each load on menu and timecard reporting to Inventory Control

•Unload flour and salt when it is received using forklift

•Informs supervisor of any shortages, equipment failures, staffing deficiencies, bill of

material concerns, or regulatory concerns immediately

•Follows and trains new hires to SSOP per regulatory requirements

•Maintains appropriate communications within area of responsibility.

•Keeps Blending Room employees informed as to Company Plans, Department Plans and progress

•Provides orientation and on-the-job training for all Team Members and ensures that the duties, authority, and responsibility for each position are defined and understood

•Fosters Safe Quality Foods (SQF) as a lifestyle vs an event mentality

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Good leadership and organizational skills

•Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English

•Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred to enhance communication with diverse stakeholders

•Must be able to operate a computer and be familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

•Able to work with minimum supervision and direct the work of others

•HSD or GED with good basic math skills

•Technical degree or apprenticeship and supervisory experience preferred

•Must be able to become a certified forklift operator

•Must be capable of heavy lifting (approximately 50 lbs.) on a repetitive basis

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

•Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs without assistance.

•Must be able to sit and/or stand for up to 5 hours at a time.

•Must be able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, climb and walk.

•Standing, walking, sitting, and bending for extended periods of time
