POSITION SUMMARY
• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support daily manufacturing and operational activities. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, monitor workflow, and ensure materials, labor, and resources are aligned to meet production goals. The Production Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting cross-functional communication, and ensuring production orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time while adhering to company quality and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Production Coordination: Coordinate daily production activities to ensure work orders are scheduled, released, and completed according to established production plans and timelines.
• Schedule Management: Assist with developing and maintaining production schedules, adjusting priorities as needed to support customer demand and operational efficiency.
• Material Availability: Monitor material requirements and collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and purchasing teams to ensure required components and materials are available for production.
• Work Order Management: Release, track, and update work orders in the ERP or production system to maintain accurate production status and reporting.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a communication link between production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on production priorities and issue resolution.
• Production Monitoring: Track production progress and identify potential delays, constraints, or capacity issues; escalate concerns and support solutions to maintain production flow.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and records including job status, production metrics, and schedule updates.
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives that improve production efficiency, workflow processes, and operational performance.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational guidelines while promoting a safe and organized work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination preferred
• Experience working with ERP or production planning systems preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position may require extended periods of sitting or standing, occasional walking through production and warehouse environments, and lifting up to 25 lbs when necessary.
• Exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments including moderate noise levels.
• Flexibility to support different shifts or overtime as needed to meet production demands.
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel required; primarily local with occasional visits to other facilities if needed.
