At Servomex, we're trusted by customers around the world to deliver complex analyzer and instrumentation systems that support critical industrial processes. Our Systems Integration team designs and delivers bespoke solutions, combining engineering expertise, gas analysis technology and deep application knowledge to solve some of industry's toughest measurement challenges.
We're now looking for a Systems Project Engineer to join the team, reporting to the Lead Engineer and taking ownership of the execution of awarded systems and instrumentation contracts. Acting as the technical focal point once a contract has been secured, you'll work closely with customers, systems integrators, suppliers and internal teams to transform approved bid concepts into detailed engineering solutions and successfully deliver projects through design, manufacture, testing, FAT, SAT and final acceptance.
This is a varied role that combines project execution, engineering design, stakeholder management and customer engagement. We're looking for someone who understands the full project lifecycle, has a good grasp of electronics and instrumentation systems, and can confidently influence customers, suppliers, integrators and internal stakeholders to drive projects to a successful conclusion.

- Translate approved bid designs into detailed engineering deliverables, including drawings, Bills of Materials (BoMs), configurations, wiring details, technical calculations and supporting documentation.
- Create and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Maintain design integrity and configuration control, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with project requirements and controlled management of design changes through the Design Authority process.
- Lead customer kick-off meetings and act as a key technical contact throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with systems integrators and suppliers, obtaining quotations, clarifying technical requirements and ensuring solutions are delivered to specification.
- Support technical design reviews, implementing review actions and ensuring designs are released in a controlled manner for manufacture.
- Develop and maintain project test plans and acceptance criteria, supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning activities and NCR resolution.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor engineering progress, identify risks early and support mitigation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Visit systems integrators and customer sites across the Houston area, with occasional travel further afield as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned reviews and updates to engineering standards and design libraries.
