Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Program CNC machines using G-code and other relevant software.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a Swiss Machinist
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
