About the Role

As a Precision Swiss CNC Machinist, you will be instrumental in driving the production of complex, high-tolerance components that power critical industries. By leveraging your expertise in Swiss-style machining, you will ensure that every part meets rigorous engineering specifications while optimizing cycle times and machine efficiency.

Responsibilities

• - Execute complex setups and operate Swiss-style lathes to manufacture high-precision components with tight tolerances.

  • Analyze blueprints and technical schematics to translate design requirements into efficient machining programs.
  • Optimize production workflows by monitoring machine performance and proactively adjusting offsets to maintain superior quality standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize equipment longevity.
  • Partner with engineering and quality teams to refine manufacturing processes and enhance overall product yield.
  • Uphold a high-standard, safe, and organized workspace that complies with all industrial safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and communicate technical status updates to leadership.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Demonstrated proficiency in operating and setting up Swiss screw machines.

• Strong grasp of machining principles, cutting tools, and material properties.

• Advanced ability to interpret complex technical drawings and geometric dimensioning.

• Expertise in utilizing precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.

Preferred Skills

• Citizen Swiss Machine preferred.
