Swiss CNC Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Swiss CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Swiss-style CNC lathes, maintaining high-quality standards, and producing precision-machined components in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Monitor machine performance and make tool wear offsets as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper tooling is installed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Swiss CNC operating experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Swiss-style lathes such as Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining production goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Setup experience is a plus.
• Experience with medical, aerospace, or high-precision components.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and editing is beneficial. but not required
