Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional supply chain projects focused on material cost reduction, strategic global sourcing, supplier relationship management, and inventory optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business units to align supply chain initiatives with company objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and drive operational efficiencies.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics to measure project success and supply chain improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to optimize procurement processes.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and market volatility.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in all supply chain operations.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred, or a proven track record of managing complex supply chain projects.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience leading supply chain projects, with a focus on cost reduction, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and inventory optimization.
- At least 10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in sourcing, planning, inventory control, or other operational roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and supply chain modeling.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Proficiency in project management software and supply chain tools.
