Global Supply Chain, F-35 Development, Material Program Manager, (MPM), Senior Staff

What You Will Be Doing

The F-35 Development Material Program Manager will lead a team focused on up-front planning, early engagements with the supply base, risk & opportunity management, driving the operations tempo, and metric management for F-35 Global Supply Chain (GSC). This position will be responsible for development, assessment, and workflow analysis to ensure optimal business operations and continuous improvement.

Leader will provide capture and sourcing guidance and leadership for a team of supply chain professionals to enable the development and execution of the F-35 subcontract strategy. Must demonstrate expertise across a range of supply chain management, program management, process improvement, project management, and leadership skills; requires knowledge of activities across the Aero Enterprise. Expected to oversee the implementation and management of an F-35 SCM risk register, interface with program / enterprise risk boards, affordability/process excellence team, and provide resource planning and execution risk analysis. Responsible for alignment to the F-35 Line of Business and Aero SCM strategies through the development of the F-35 SCM strategy, execution of the strategy, generation of subcontract proposal forecasts, F-35 rate readiness/sustainment readiness support, facilitation of affordability initiatives and the development of internal operation performance measures to proactively mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities. Ensure alignment across the entire F-35 SCM organization by driving the business rhythm and operational tempo, metrics management, tool development and maintenance, organizational communications and process improvement initiatives.

You'll also collaborate with Labor Relations & Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Experience in Supply Chain Management
- Subcontract / Program Management experience
- Leadership Experience (formal or informal)
- Experience in developing and executing business/subcontract management strategies
- Negotiation Experience
- F-35 program experience

Desired skills

- Experience handling many overlapping projects simultaneously
- Experienced at identifying and building organizational talent
- Experience managing procurement and/or sourcing teams
- Experience executing lean processes and initiatives
- Experience with systems such as MRP, LMAP, and SAP
- Experience leading large cross functional initiatives
- Experience addressing complex matters and potential solutions with Senior Leadership
- Experience across complete product lifecycle: Production, Sustainment and Development
- Experience cross functionally, to include Engineering and Program Management

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $151,200 - $262,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
