Position Summary:

This position leads a small team supporting the Supply Chain and Logistics activities for the US and Canada Region (USC).    The primary focus is to ensure timely and cost effective distribution supporting the Regional Sales team.   Globally, Miraclon has 16 warehouses, 3 of which are in the US and Canada Region.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • Provide Leadership to the USC Supply Chain function
  • Manage small team and vendors
  • Regional Distribution budget management
  • Actively Manage the 3rd party logistics supplier base   
  • Represent Supply Chain in the USC Regional Leadership Team
  • Represent USC Region in the WW Supply Chain and Operations Team
  • Work with Planning on optimal inventory levels for the region
  • Ensure processes and standards for new products into the regional distribution are defined and adhered to
  • Actively manage inventory FIFO, cleanliness and accuracy
  • Be proactive in driving initiatives that result in delighting customers with their experience
  • Work closely with Regional Commercial Director to ensure strategies are aligned
  • Project Management for regional projects
  • Drive improvement initiatives

Education requirements

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management or Related
  • APICS/CLTD certification,
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral); other languages are a plus.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Min 5+ years experience in a similar function interacting with Global colleagues
  • Deep experience managing 3rd party logistics partners including Transport and Warehouse providers
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong follow up skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Customer focused, enthusiastic and professional
  • Good communication skills (both listening and presenting)
  • Result driven, detail oriented and quality focused
  • Able to quickly integrate into a global, virtual team
  • Encourage knowledge sharing between colleagues
  • Able to exercise sound judgment while handling time sensitive tasks
  • Self-starter with flexibility to meet & manage challenging priorities and deadlines
  • Understanding of inventory management processes
  • Experience interacting and leading a global team
  • Deep ERP and BI experience, INFOR M3 in Order Management, Logistics and Supply Chain highly desired
