Role Overview

Lead and develop a team responsible for end-to-end order-to-delivery supply chain performance. This role drives supplier alignment with demand, ensures material availability, and delivers sourcing strategies that support growth, cost reduction, and continuous supplier performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier value stream performance to ensure alignment with business demand and manufacturing needs
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support growth, cost, and year-over-year performance improvement
  • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned commodity/value stream
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to assess future material availability and design impacts
  • Identify supplier performance gaps and implement improvement plans
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global supply chain team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of combined experience in procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain management
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing supplier performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of combined experience in procurement, manufacturing, or management
  • Experience in forging for industrial gas turbine or aerospace industries
  • Professional certifications (CPM, CPIM, CIRM)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
  • Experience with ERP systems (BaaN 5C / ERP LN), Windchill, and Coupa

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
