SUMMARY: Manages and oversees activities performed by Inventory Planners and Supply Chain Assistants. This position has full responsibility and leadership for inventory levels and product availability metrics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
- Responsible for promoting culture of safety
- Manages all aspects of inventory control (e.g. purchasing, inventory level management, etc.)
- Manages purchase order acknowledgement and expedite process
- Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations
- Oversees and resolves issues regarding existing and new products
- Responsible for driving a healthy inventory portfolio through managing team inventory levels
- Responsible for streamlining the order placement, acknowledgement and expedite processes to improve efficiencies throughout the overall supply chain.
- Responsible for managing and driving improved team product availability levels.
- Responsible for providing training and development for team members. Including, but not limited to, providing performance evaluations and implementing training plans by role.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with required software programs
- Proficient at problems solving
- Proficient time management and organizational skills
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor degree required
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field required

- Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
- Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to _25_ pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
