Position Title: Supply Chain Manager Department: EVS Operations

POSITION PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Manager at EOTECH Edge Vision Systems will coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities related to the identification, procurement, acquisition, and inventory management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the receiving of raw materials/sub-assemblies and distributing of the company’s finished goods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages a team that includes buyers, planners, and material coordinators
- Hires and trains departmental supervisors.
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the departments
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manages purchasing activity to optimize inventory levels, with respect to maintaining production continuity while limiting cash impact of excess material inventory.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Builds relationships with senior management of strategic suppliers. Develops flexible supply agreements to ensure adaptability to market conditions, while ensuring internal pricing challenges and validity timelines are met.
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Develops and maintains detailed inventory levels of materials and supplies located within the company, at supplier locations, and in the factory.
- Maintains required safety stock levels of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
- Develops and documents procedures to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
- Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
- Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery schedules with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Participates as an advisory member of the program, product and engineering teams, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
- Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, new product, or production launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
- Assesses and implements plan to ensure company maintains compliance to all government regulatory requirements, including requirement flow through to suppliers and supplier audits.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clutter-free environment in responsible areas, consistently implementing 6S and Lean concepts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience in using various ERP systems. (Critical)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience as a supervisor, manager role within supply chain management, or similar relevant position required.
- Familiarity with 6S and Lean concepts is a plus.
- Direct experience in Government contacting & procurement.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 25% of the time.
