Job Overview:

AeroMech is seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for leading AeroMech's centralized Supply Chain organization, ensuring the timely procurement, receipt, inventory management, and availability of materials required to support manufacturing, repair operations, engineering, and other business functions. This role develops scalable supply chain processes, strengthens supplier relationships, and partners closely with Production Logistics, PMA Operations, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to ensure operational readiness and business growth.

As AeroMech continues to expand, the Supply Chain Manager will build a high-performing, customer-focused organization that balances service, cost, quality, and delivery while driving continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

Supply Chain Leadership

  • Lead the centralized Supply Chain organization supporting all AeroMech business units.

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve material availability, inventory performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Build scalable processes that support company growth.

  • Establish team priorities, performance metrics, and operating rhythms.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.

  • Monitor supplier performance including quality, cost, and delivery.

  • Develop sourcing strategies to reduce supply risk and improve lead times.

  • Partner with suppliers to resolve shortages and quality issues.

Inventory & Material Management

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production.

  • Optimize inventory levels while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.

  • Oversee receiving processes and inventory transactions.

  • Maintain accurate material master data within ERP systems.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Production Logistics to ensure materials are available for kitting, support production priorities and production schedules.

  • Collaborate with PMA Operations to support production priorities and customer commitments.

  • Work closely with Engineering on new product introductions, engineering changes, and material requirements.

  • Coordinate with Quality on supplier quality issues and corrective actions.

  • Support Sales and Program Management with material availability and customer delivery commitments.

Operational Excellence

  • Develop standardized supply chain processes and work instructions.

  • Implement KPIs and dashboards to measure supplier performance, inventory health, and service levels.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and eliminate bottlenecks.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain team.

  • Establish cross-training and succession plans to improve organizational flexibility.

  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and customer service.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

**Required Qualifications:

**

Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, or manufacturing operations

  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing supply chain or materials team

  • Experience with VistaSuite, Quantum, or comparable manufacturing/ERP systems is required

  • Ability to analyze system data to drive decision-making, improve operational performance, and support cross-functional business needs

  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, production planning, and supplier management

  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control best practices

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using ERP reporting and analytics tools

Travel Requirements

  • Travel up to 10% may be required
