AriensCo is seeking a dynamic leader to manage our purchased material planning and inventory management across our US facilities. In this role, you will hire, train, and develop a high-performing team while establishing clear goals and optimizing our supply chain for agility and inventory turnover.
This position is located in Brillion, WI.
THE DAY TO DAY...
Manage the purchased material planning and inventory management function across US facilities
Hire, train and develop the team
Define and create clarity around goals, progress reporting, and ensures team accountability
Establish and own the order management process complete with fulfillment methodology (e-kanban, ROP, PTO, etc.)
Ensure purchased materials supply chain is optimized to meet corporate goals for supply chain agility and inventory turns
Engage with suppliers to implement material flow strategies
Participate in quarterly business reviews with suppliers to provide feedback and discuss improvement opportunities
Work in partnership with Operations to ensure ongoing needs are met and constraints are clearly communicated
Implement an inventory management strategy and develops relevant reporting and control processes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and shares successes with stakeholders
Problem-solve and implement corrective actions for the root causes of all material related issues
Involve corporate sourcing team with forecast updates, supplier contract issues, quality and delivery issues
Create and deliver reports on group initiatives to company leadership
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university required
A minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment in a Materials planning role required
A minimum of 1 year of experience directly leading others required
APICS certification preferred
