Job Description:

AriensCo is seeking a dynamic leader to manage our purchased material planning and inventory management across our US facilities. In this role, you will hire, train, and develop a high-performing team while establishing clear goals and optimizing our supply chain for agility and inventory turnover.

This position is located in Brillion, WI.

THE DAY TO DAY...

  • Manage the purchased material planning and inventory management function across US facilities

  • Hire, train and develop the team

  • Define and create clarity around goals, progress reporting, and ensures team accountability

  • Establish and own the order management process complete with fulfillment methodology (e-kanban, ROP, PTO, etc.)

  • Ensure purchased materials supply chain is optimized to meet corporate goals for supply chain agility and inventory turns

  • Engage with suppliers to implement material flow strategies

  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with suppliers to provide feedback and discuss improvement opportunities

  • Work in partnership with Operations to ensure ongoing needs are met and constraints are clearly communicated

  • Implement an inventory management strategy and develops relevant reporting and control processes

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and shares successes with stakeholders

  • Problem-solve and implement corrective actions for the root causes of all material related issues

  • Involve corporate sourcing team with forecast updates, supplier contract issues, quality and delivery issues

  • Create and deliver reports on group initiatives to company leadership

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university required

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment in a Materials planning role required

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience directly leading others required

  • APICS certification preferred
